In-office training

The goal of the workshop is to practically demonstrate how to use appliances from the Benefit system. Together, we will design appliances for different malocclusions and select the appropriate components for each appliance. We will show you how to activate these appliances together, ensuring there are no side effects. We will also discuss what to do when “the appliance is not working.”

Each participant will independently place microimplants through a template in a specially designed model.

If possible, we will demonstrate the assembly of the Benefit appliance live (Slider, Hybrid Hyrax, or Intrudor).

You will also see many new clinical cases and observe step-by-step control visits.

During the training, we will discuss the following topics:

• Why the palate?
• Indications for appliances based on palatal microimplants
• Construction of appliances for treating specific malocclusions
• How to plan an appliance, what to pay attention to, the order form for the technician – independent design and selection of appliance components
• Model twisting for the “one-visit protocol”
• Independent placement of microimplants in a special model
• Intraoral and extraoral activation of Benefit, bending the offset on Z-co
• Use of “Brandt” modifications
• Live demonstration of the assembly of microimplants and the palatal appliance in the one-visit protocol

• Discussion of cases for the day.
• We will visit our orthodontic laboratory:
  • Together with my technician, we will show how to prepare in-house aligners using the Onyxceph program.
  • How to independently design aligners step-by-step for treating simple malocclusions and relapses after orthodontic treatment.
  • From digital design to 3D model printing and foil molding for aligners.
  • Next, we will demonstrate our protocols for preparing trays for indirect bonding, also using the Onyxceph program.
  • Setting up brackets in the program, printing trays, and attaching brackets to trays.
• Working with Patients: For this day, the one-visit protocol includes:
  Mesialslider installation,
  Distalslider installation,
  Hybrid hyrax installation

• Indirect bonding of appliances.
